The fashion industry in Botswana is surely blooming into a venturous industry as the youth are taking it to a whole new level. Got the privilege of attending a Magazine launch at Skyy Lounge on the 31st of May as a few young men were introducing their very first fashion magazine. I got to mingle with a few of Botswana's fashionistas and peeked into their world as they all gathered in the name of fashion.

CFDA Fashion Award 2014

So here I am writing my very first commentary blog post, its high time I have my say on the fashion industry now that its taking its twirl in the country. Now every Sarah, Mary and Ruth think they are fashionista's just because they have a few hundred likes on social medias. This is me giving all you event goers a heads up on the possible do's and don'ts on what to wear before you leave the house. Its bad enough your friends let you walk out the door looking like that but its even worse for us photographers to have to try and make you look pretty when it doesn't work..

For all you big busted ladies out there this bright red number that Busy Philipps pulled out would work for you. I like how it also shows of her waist line. A nice big accessory would be a finishing touch or big earrings.

Now guys Tyson Beckford just showed you it a worthy risk to go out with a sock-less tucks. But not all can get away with this look, only tall really handsome males can try this look

WarZone Finals

It has been a pleasure to work with a group of people who are very creative lyrically and are able to freestyle without writing their material down. The finals for WarZone was on the 7th of March 2014 at United Cafe 3. It all came down to the best of the best battling it down to be crowned the best MC in town. Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better some of our local artists came in to watch the show including the best female rapper in the country Sasa Klass, hip hop veteran Apollo Diablo and Concrete just to mention a few. Sasa Klass blessed us with a beatbox session  where every MC had a 30seconds session to freestyle to her beats. Sexy how a pretty girl can beat box better than most guys.

Kosher with Reason in Style...

Famous for his current hit Bump the Cheese up, international artist Reason came to perform in Botswana for the first time at Kosher on the 3rd of May 2014. Alot of hip hop heads that I know came out to play and witness Reason perform live on stage which was a trill. What i liked most was the fashion of the people who mingled with the Local artist who attended this event...
